The Foxes were beaten by Brighton last time out.

Leicester will be hoping to return to winning ways for the first time since their quarter-final victory over Liverpool in the Adobe Women's FA Cup, having seen consecutive defeats in the league to Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Currently ninth in the standings with 16 points, a win could see the Foxes climb above the Villans and back into seventh place, heading into the March international break and a semi-final date with Spurs.

Jutta Rantala is the Fox in form at the moment, scoring three of Leicester's last four goals, and currently has 15 goal involvements in her debut season with the Club.

Villa currently sit three points above Leicester in the league.

Saturday's hosts are having a somewhat disappointing season compared to last year's fifth-place finish, having lost three more times this campaign, accumulating just half as many points compared to the last.

The last three fixtures has seen Villa win just once, in a 2-1 victory over Everton at Walton Hall Park, when Kenza Dali and Ebony Salmon found the net against the Toffees.

Adriana Leon has seven goals and assists this season, while Lionesses' striker Rachel Daly, who was last year's WSL top goalscorer with 22, has just six strikes registered to her name this term.

City were beaten 1-0 by the Villans in January.

Leicester have lost their last five meetings with Aston Villa, scoring just twice against the fellow East Midlands side, but have improved drastically over the last 12 months, and were narrowly beaten 1-0 in the reverse fixture in January.

Daly scored the only goal of the game just 16 minutes in at Pirelli Stadium, and despite close encounters with the Villa net, coming closest when Ava Baker saw a shot cleared off the line, Leicester were beaten two months ago and continue to look for their first win over their counterparts.
