Leicester City Football Club have been named Grounds Team of the Season for the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship campaign.

The award is testament to the work carried out at King Power Stadium throughout the Club’s title-winning campaign – with the Foxes securing the second-tier trophy against Preston North End on Monday night.
This success follows the Grounds team’s honours at the Grounds Management Association awards earlier this season, where they were winners in two categories: Professional Football Grounds Team of the Year and Environmental and Sustainability Impact award.
Simon Gibson, Head of Grounds at Leicester City, said: “We’re thrilled to have been named the Sky Bet Championship Grounds Team of the Season. I’d like to commend the efforts of everyone in our team, who work extremely hard each day across all three of our Club sites.
“It’s been a really successful season for the Club on and off the pitch, and this award is something we can all be proud of.”
The Club’s Grounds team are now working hard in preparation for Saturday’s final Men’s game of the season, as Enzo Maresca’s side welcome Blackburn Rovers to Filbert Way (12:30pm kick-off).
