Leicester City youngsters Jamie Anton and Jak McCourt have put pen-to-paper on professional deals with the Club after a successful campaign for the Foxes’ Under-18s side.
Both have impressed with consistent performances for Trevor Peake’s squad, highlighted by a run to the FA Youth Cup Fifth Round, as well as appearing regularly for Steve Beaglehole’s Under-21s in their charge to the top of the league.
Versatile 18-year-old defender Anton has featured primarily as a right back, while McCourt, 17, is a tough-tackling central midfielder and both were part of the Under-18s team that reached the semi-finals of last season's Premier League U18s tournament.
Both players are set to be involved in Tuesday night’s Under-21 play-off semi-final against Cardiff City at King Power Stadium, where the Foxes will be hoping to advance to the national final.
