Fuchs, alongside the efforts of LCFC Community Trust coaches, helped deliver a session at Barley Croft Primary School, Leicester on Thursday and the City defender explained just how much he enjoyed surprising youngsters in the local community.
“When I was a kid I’d play football with my friends and I’d always wished I had the opportunity to play with a professional footballer and these kids have had the chance to do that thanks to Premier League Primary Stars,” said Fuchs.
“It’s a chance for these kids to learn from us so it’s a nice experience for them. In these lessons they can get out there and run around and play football as well as other sports.
“It’s a really good mix of boys and girls so it was really nice. I hope they’ve enjoyed it and I hope I get to go to another one.
“It’s a chance for us as professional footballers to give back. We have all the support from the Leicester community and I’m enjoying it a lot.”
