LCFC Sign Youngster Watts

- The Republic of Ireland international has signed a two-year deal with the Foxes 

- Watts played in the UEFA Europa League for UCD last term 

Leicester City have signed young attacking midfielder Dylan Watts from University College Dublin for an undisclosed fee. 

The Republic of Ireland youth international, 19, joins the Foxes on a deal until 2018 having already gained considerable experience playing for UCD in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers and the League of Ireland First Division last term. 

Capped six times at Under-19 level for the Republic of Ireland, Watts made his international debut against Italy in September 2015 and featured in the UEFA U19 European Championships. 

Watts will now link up with the Club’s Development Squad, who next face Liverpool on Sunday 11 September (2pm kick-off) in Premier League 2.
