Leicester City Launch Alternative Away Kit For 2016/17 Season

- All-white alternative away kit available from City Fanstore on Friday 8 July 

- Shirt takes inspiration from 1983/84 kit 

- Prices start at £35 for kids and £50 for adults 

With the next chapter of the Leicester City story set to begin next month, the Club, alongside official kit supplier PUMA, are proud to unveil an alternative away kit for the 2016/17 season. 

The alternative away kit will feature away from home throughout Leicester City’s Premier League title defence season, as well as in the Club’s debut UEFA Champions League campaign. 

Taking inspiration from the Foxes’ 1983/84 kit, this season’s alternative away kit boasts a clean white design with thin blue pinstripes on the shirt and a textured form stripe design across both the shirt and shorts. 

Other shirt details include a two-piece rib collar, the Club crest and Puma logo embroidered onto the front, and a drop tail hem for added coverage. 

During the photoshoot for the launch, Marc Albrighton said:“The white kit is beautiful, it’s got the pinstripes which is a bit different to what we’ve had in previous years and I think the extra little touches make it look pretty special, we’re looking forward to wearing it. As well as playing the part you’ve got to look the part, so I think PUMA have done a good job.”

Supporters can get their hands on Leicester City’s alternative away kit, from Friday 8 July from the City Fanstore at King Power Stadium; while the kit will be available online at www.lcfcdirect.com from Friday 5 August. 

Adult kits start from £50, with kids’ kits starting at £35.
