Development Squad defender Hervé Pepe-Ngoma has joined Evo-Stik Southern side Corby Town on a one-month loan deal.
The 18-year-old centre half stepped up to Steve Beaglehole’s Under-21s group this term after a hugely impressive campaign with the Under-18s in 2013/14, which ended with him securing the Academy Player of the Year award. Ngoma, who faced the Steelmen in a pre-season friendly for City, heads to Steel Park as manager Tommy Wright looks close the five-point gap on league leaders Poole Town.
Next up for Corby is a trip to league rivals Paulton Rovers on Saturday afternoon, and Ngoma will be available for selection.
