Panayiotou Nets First International Hat-Trick

Panayiotou has scored six goals in his last five games in all competitions for Steve Beaglehole’s Under-21s and put in another fine performance, this time against Turks and Caicos in the World Cup Qualifiers.
The striker’s nation won 6-2 on the night, with Panayiotou grabbing his first from the penalty spot before netting twice in five second-half minutes to eventually beat Turks and Caicos 12-4 on aggregate following the 6-2 victory earlier in the week.
Meanwhile, Riyad Mahrez earned another cap for Algeria in their 1-0 friendly defeat to Qatar on Thursday evening.
Mahrez played a key part in the Desert Warriors’ Africa Cup of Nations campaign earlier this season and could again be involved for his nation on Sunday 29 March when they face Oman in another friendly.
