Harvey Barnes, James Justin and Dennis Praet were among the scorers for City as the home side made it two wins from two in the Premier League to sit atop of the early 2020/21 standings.

Goals going in left, right and centre
Gerry Taggart said: “It was a very entertaining game of football you have to say. It followed on from the exploits of yesterday and earlier on today, with goals going in left, right and centre. At the end, it was another really good performance. Leicester, at times, controlled the game and limited Burnley to long balls into the box where, in fairness to them, they caused us problems.”
Exhilarating football
Steve Walsh said: “At times, some of the football they played was absolutely exhilarating. The movement, the quality of the passes… they were splitting that Burnley defensive in half at the end. Burnley didn’t have the answers in the end and Leicester could have got more, but they will be happy with four goals. There were some great performances, but Harvey Barnes was my Man of the Man. Dennis Praet, too, has been outstanding so far this season.”
Goals all over the pitch
Paul Dickov said: “To be two games in and scoring seven goals is fantastic. We were all raving before the game about Jamie Vardy and how important his goals are, but to score four goals without him on the scoresheet shows you what fantastic attacking players that they’ve got in the team. [Timothy] Castagne, he scored last week and has got a couple of assists, James Justin on the other side too, it bodes really well for Leicester at the moment.”
City's Belgium trio
Gerry Taggart said: “Leicester cut Burnley open at will and some of the football tonight was excellent. It was a great performance an even better result. It’s difficult to pick out a Man of the Man, but I can cut it down to a nationality at least! It’s Belgium. I have to give it to Dennis Praet, he was brilliant and he scored an absolute rocket of a goal – for that rocket and his all round game, which I think has been excellent.”
Looking ahead
Steve Walsh said: “Leicester will be judged more on [performances against] a top-10 team now. When you look at the next few fixtures, you think: ‘Right, come on. The confidence is high, what can we do against them?’ It was an unusual game against Burnley. It’s a game where you have to defend a lot on free-kicks and set-plays, that’s where they win games, but they’ve got through it and it’s a great result for Leicester City.”
Competition for places
Paul Dickov said: “Leicester look like they’ve got goals from all over the pitch now. We’ve seen that with the full-backs scoring in the last couple of games. There’s a real competition for places. Dennis Praet has been playing really well in a position usually played by James Maddison, and Castagne’s playing so well in Ricardo [Pereira’s] position. That’s a nice problem for Brendan [Rodgers] to have. There’s competition all over the pitch.”
