Turkey’s Ünder Scores In Six-Goal Thriller
- Cengiz Ünder scores in Turkey’s 3-3 draw with Croatia
- The Leicester City winger netted his nation’s third goal of the evening
- Dennis Praet played 90 minutes in Belgium’s 2-1 friendly win over Switzerland at OH Leuven's King Power at Den Dreef Stadium
- Youri Tielemans came off the bench to set up his nation's equaliser
Making his 25th appearance for the Crescent-Stars, Ünder’s strike was the sixth of a thoroughly entertaining showdown at the Vodafone Arena in Beşiktaş.
Everton’s Cenk Tosun opened the scoring from the spot on 23 minutes, and while Ante Budimir replied for the visitors nine minutes later, Deniz Türüç restored the Turkey lead before the interval.
Youri Tielemans
Youri Tielemans set up Michy Batshuayi for Belgium's first goal of the night.
Goals from Mario Pašalić and Josip Brekalo then saw Croatia turn the game on its head, but Ünder’s effort on 58 minutes ultimately secured a draw for Turkey.
Later in the evening, City midfielder Dennis Praet started from the off and Youri Tielemans was introduced at half-time as Belgium entertained Switzerland at King Power at Den Dreef Stadium in an international friendly.
Dennis Praet
The Leicester City midfielder played the full 90 minutes at King Power at Den Dreef Stadium.
The hosts fell behind on 12 minutes, when Admir Mehmedi scored for Switzerland, and they maintained that lead heading into the break.
That prompted Roberto Martínez into introducing Tielemans, who after just four minutes of action, assisted Michy Batshuayi for the leveller.
The City No.8's immediate impact laid the foundations for Belgium to go on and win the game, and they did just that as Batshuayi bagged his second to secure a 2-1 success at the home of OH Leuven.
