Young Leicester City midfielder Khanya Leshabela has joined League 1 side Shrewsbury Town in a loan deal until the end of the 2021/22 season, subject to Football League approval.

The 21-year-old Academy graduate has progressed through the Leicester City ranks to become a consistent performer for the Development Squad over recent seasons.
The South African youth international’s progress continued in March this year when he came off the bench to make his Premier League debut in a 5-0 victory over Sheffield United at King Power Stadium.
Leshabela’s development will now see him link up with his new Shrewsbury Town team-mates ahead of their League 1 fixture at home to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday afternoon.
