Young midfielder Luana Zajmi has joined FA Women’s Championship side Blackburn Rovers in a loan deal until the end of the 2021/22 season.

The 19-year-old joined the Foxes in the summer from Slovenian side ZNK Pomurje and made her debut in the Continental Tyres League Cup fixture at home to Manchester City earlier this month.
A Slovenia international at both Under-17s and Under-19s levels, Zajmi will now continue her development with Blackburn until the end of the season, with Lewes next up in the league for Rovers on Sunday 6 February after facing Durham in the Women's FA Cup this weekend.
