Leicester City's Under-18s fell to a 1-0 loss to West Ham United at LCFC Training Ground on Saturday afternoon.
Following a 3-0 victory over Norwich City last time out, the young Foxes were looking to build a positive run of form to go into the final weeks of the 2021/22 campaign. City, though, found Hammers goalkeeper Jacob Knightbridge in their way with the young shot-stopper delivering a fine display.
A tense U18 Premier League South encounter was settled with just 16 minutes still to play in Seagrave as George Earthy secured all three points for the visitors. It's a result which leaves Leicester's Under-18s sitting in sixth place in the league table, on 38 points, after winning 11 of their 21 fixtures.
A five-game final run-in begins on Saturday with a trip to Cobham Training Centre to tackle Chelsea (12pm BST kick-off).
