'Bounce Back Straight Away' – Dewsbury-Hall Speaks Inside Latest Programme
- Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall speaks inside the latest edition of CITY Matchday Magazine
- Leicester City welcome Everton to King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday (2pm kick-off)
- Dewsbury-Hall is intent on responding to Thursday's 1-0 loss at AS Roma
- Rewarding the Blue Army for their support should motivate the Foxes this month, he says
The Foxes head into that encounter on Filbert Way (2pm kick-off) on the back of a bitterly disappointing 1-0 defeat at AS Roma which ended their UEFA Europa Conference League journey at the semi-finals stage on Thursday. Everton, meanwhile, overcame Chelsea in the league last weekend.
Frank Lampard's men remain in a battle at the bottom of the standings, however, and are currently 18th – two points behind Leeds United with a game in hand. Speaking after City's trip to Rome, Dewsbury-Hall caught up with CITY Matchday Magazine to preview Sunday's test and take stock.
"We know they’re fighting for their lives at the moment, so these games are always really tough," Leicester's No.22 told the Club's official programme. "They will be giving 100 per cent for every ball in the game, and we have to match that. I feel like we did well at their place not long ago.
It’s our job now to make them proud over the final weeks of the Premier League season, starting this weekend.

"We dictated a lot of the game, so it was really disappointing to concede the late equaliser. For us, we want to finish as high as we can in the Premier League, so winning these games is really important for us. We’re looking forward to it."
Naturally, that reverse in Italy still stings for Dewsbury-Hall and his team-mates. In time, they may come to reflect proudly on the Club's achievements in Europe this term, but for now, the 23-year-old says full focus is on making amends in the Premier League.
"It’s so disappointing to lose," he continued. "We went a goal behind from a corner early on, which has been our Achilles heel this season. From that point, you’re chasing the game against a José Mourinho team in one of the best atmospheres in the world.

"We still believed we could turn it around, but it was difficult for us. I’m sure, eventually, we’ll be able to be proud of our run in Europe, but at the moment it still hurts. We want to bounce back straight away in the league."
The Foxes were backed by 3,450 members of the Blue Army in Rome on Thursday. Making them proud over the coming weeks is Dewsbury-Hall's intention.
"They were brilliant," the Academy graduate added. "We had 70,000 Roma fans who were bang up for the game, but we could see and hear our fans throughout. We wanted to send them home with a win so much, but it wasn’t to be.
"It’s our job now to make them proud over the final weeks of the Premier League season, starting this weekend. There’s still a lot of football to play until the end of the season and we want to finish as high as we possibly can in the league."
