The Foxes, who booked their spot in the last-16 with a victory over Sky Bet League 1 side Scunthorpe United, will face the North West outfit during the week commencing Monday 8 January.
Steve Beaglehole has guided his side to second in Premier League 2, top of their PL Cup group, second in their PL International Cup pool and into the latter stages of the EFL Trophy this term.
Oldham, currently 18th in League 1, are managed by former Foxes midfielder Richie Wellens. Ticket information, including sales dates and prices, will be announced on LCFC.com in due course.
