- Captain Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is scheduled to help launch Soccer Sevens on Thursday afternoon
The young Foxes landed on Wednesday evening, local time, following a 12-hour flight alongside their counterparts from competitor clubs from London Heathrow Airport.
On two previous occasions, City have returned to the United Kingdom with the Main Cup prize - and this year's talented young squad are determined to replicate past successes.
On Thursday, the Club's youngsters will undergo their first of two training sessions at the home of Hong Kong Football Club, set within the breathtaking Happy Valley district.
Afterwards, meanwhile, squad captain Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, fresh from winning the Club's Development Squad Player of the Season award, will represent City at the official launch.
Staged atop of the Pullman hotel in Causeway Bay, it promises to be an enjoyable afternoon for the young Foxes before the real business begins over the weekend
With the stunning Hong Kong landscape as their backdrop, Leicester will come up against Aston Villa, Kitchee and Singapore Cricket Club in Group B on Saturday morning.
Matches last seven minutes per half, with a one-minute break, and line-ups are limited to seven players. With no offside rule, the competition promises to be an entertaining affair.
Defender Dennis Gyamfi, a star of the Club's Under-18s side during the 2018/19 season, is one of several players to be enjoying their first taste of the Soccer Sevens this week.
Speaking to LCFC TV upon arrival, Gyamfi said: "It was a long long flight! Good to be here. It’s a beautiful country, nice scenery, and obviously, it’s a bit humid so it’s a bit different for the boys.
"But we’re looking to bring the trophy back home for the LCFC fans. It's obviously going to be a much different test to what we're used to with all the differences in the rules over here.
"We [usually] play 11-a-side so it’s very small, quick, so obviously losing the ball will cost you so we need to be quick, make quick decisions. If we get a chance to punish, we need to punish."
LCFC TV will be there every step of the way over the coming days as the young Foxes go in hunt for a third Main Cup success at the HKFC Citi Soccer Sevens!
