Title-winner Fuchs, 33, has made five appearances for the Foxes this season and continues to be an invaluable presence among Brendan Rodgers' first team squad.
Ahead of this Saturday's 3pm BST clash with the Clarets, the former Austria international told CITY Matchday Magazine about the importance of the Club always looking forward.
"It’s been a good start," he said. "We’re always disappointed when we lose games. It doesn’t matter who we lose to, but the game at Manchester United hurt.
"We were the much better team. We may have come out a bit slow in the opening 20 minutes, but throughout the game we were the better side.
"We should have won that game. Performance-wise, I think that it’s been a great start to the season.
"It’s been interesting to see the transition from winning the league in 2016, when we had an average of something like 25 per cent possession, to a team that is now based on possession.
"It feels so good. We’re definitely a better team, playing better football, than we were in 2016.
"We were a great team then, as we are now, but to have been able to see the development of the Club, and playing a part in it is amazing."
