- Leicester City defeated Everton 2-1 at King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday
- Jamie Vardy equalised Richarlison's opener before Kelechi Iheanacho netted a dramatic late winner
- Ricardo Pereira, who assisted Iheanacho, says the celebrations show the togetherness of City's squad
- The Portugal international also backs the Foxes to continue their intrepid run of form in December
Despite falling behind in the first half, to Richarlison's opener, Jamie Vardy levelled matters after the break before, in the 94th minute, Ricardo set up Kelechi Iheanacho to seal all three points.
The Foxes have now won seven matches in a row in all competitions, six of which have come in the Premier League, a new Club record, and the 26-year-old was thrilled to see them rewarded for their effort.
"Until the end, we showed character, we believed in the result and in our game, so it feels really good to win the game like this," the Portugal international told LCFC TV at full-time.
"I think against Burnley we didn’t play that well and we were losing today. We were playing well and we knew if we kept going like that, the goal would appear and fortunately for us that’s what happened.
"It’s good, but we have to keep our feet on the ground, keep working. We have a game (vs. Watford) in three days so we have to keep going like this and keep growing this momentum.
"We are winning, we are playing well, we are enjoying our game and that feels good and that’s good to have a game in three days."
The drama of Iheanacho's last-gasp winner was heightened further by it requiring confirmation from VAR but, once the decision had been made, it sparked euphoric celebrations at King Power Stadium.
Ricardo believes the nature of those celebrations, which saw the whole squad surround Iheanacho on the sidelines, shows the unique bond which exists between the players in City's first team.
He added: "When I made the pass I thought he was level with the defence and unfortunately for us, when I saw the flag I said: ‘No it can’t be like that!’ So, fortunately, we celebrated twice!
"It seems like everybody was the scorer. I think we were all happy for him and for the team and we showed we are together in this.
"Like I said, normally I’m here to defend first but if I can give my help in front, I will do that."
