- Mitch Clark nominated for the September edition of the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award
- The 21-year-old full-back has played in all of Leicester City's four Premier League 2 Division 1 fixtures
- Clark scored a magnificent long-range effort in a 2-0 win at Manchester United on 14 September
- Seven players throughout the two leagues within the PL2 system have been nominated for the prize
Clark, 21, has been ever present for the Club's Under-23s squad in Premier League 2 Division since the start of the season, also starring in a 2-1 EFL Trophy victory at Hull City.
The former Aston Villa defender scored an excellent effort from distance in the opening day 2-0 victory over Manchester United, sending a second-half rocket into the top corner.
Clark, who has made four appearances in Division 1 this term, is one of seven nominees across the two divisions which make up the Premier League's Under-23s pyramid.
The shortlist was decided by the Premier League Football Development Panel after players were nominated by coaches in each of their league matches during the past month.
That panel will also select the winner, which will be announced on premierleague.com and on @PLYouth on Twitter over the coming weeks.
