- The Foxes sealed seven points over the month, including victories over Liverpool and Crystal Palace

During the early weeks of the side's maiden season as a professional outfit, the Foxes sealed a succession of big results to propel them into the upper reaches of the league standings.
A last-gasp 2-2 draw with Durham, courtesy of goals from Remi Allen and Lachante Paul, was followed by back-to-back victories for City throughout the month of October.
Paige Bailey-Gayle and Paul were on the scoresheet at Farley Way Stadium as Leicester registered an impressive 2-1 triumph over recently-relegated Liverpool on Sunday 11 October.
Then, seven days later in the capital, the Foxes came from behind to win 4-1 at Crystal Palace, with Allen (2), Paul and Natasha Flint on the scoresheet at Hayes Lane.
The prize was awarded by a panel including Marieanne Spacey-Cale MBE, Southampton's Head of Girls and Women’s Football/Head Coach, Jen O’Neill, the Editor of She Kicks, and Alan Curbishley, a LMA board member.
Speaking upon receiving the award this week, Morgan told LCFC TV: "It's a great feeling. Obviously, it's brilliant to be given accolades like that to show your hard work's being noticed externally as well as internally.
"It's an award which is not just for myself, but it's the whole squad and the staff, so we're delighted with the accolade and hopefully we can get a few more this year.
"There's a massive amount of work that is put in behind the scenes and you can't forget the people around Leicester the Club who are supporting us in different ways as well.
"It's a great accolade that we can be proud of and I think we are deserving of it, too, for the month of October."
Following a 5-2 win over Blackburn Rovers in the Continental League Cup on Wednesday, the Foxes are next in league action against Lewes at Farley Way Stadium on Sunday (2pm GMT kick-off).
