- Leicester have won their last five matches in all competitions
The Nigeria international netted a brace for the Foxes on Filbert Way before efforts from Dennis Praet and James Maddison wrapped up a fifth consecutive victory for Brendan Rodgers' men.
City are top of Group G in Europe and, as it stands, second in the Premier League and Iheanacho believes they are being rewarded for their efforts on the training field.
"It was enjoyable," he told LCFC TV at full-time. "We enjoyed it, it was a great night. We worked out there, so everyone was working hard.
"So, [in the] first half, I wasn't that good, but the second half was brilliant, so we got a clean sheet, so it was a great outing and we love it."
Reflecting on his two goals for the Club on Thursday, the 24-year-old highlighted the link-up play which led to him finishing the first, before a deflected effort from range for the second.
He added: "It was just a ricochet, so I played a lovely one-two with Madders (Maddison) and the goalkeeper [was] trying to get there, but I was a bit quicker and I scored the goal, so I'm happy.
"When you win, it gives you more confidence to keep going, to keep improving. So, we keep improving in training and we're now focused on the Premier League, so that's where our focus is now."
City's perfect start in Europe can also give them hope of reaching the latter stages of the competition, Iheanacho believes.
"Yes, we are strong in the Europa League now, so three wins," he continued. "We'll keep going. Keep our focus and hopefully, in the next games, we keep winning.
"It's enjoyable, we love it. So, we'll keep working really hard to get to the highest level, so hopefully we'll get to the top in Europe."
