With both sides triumphing in their last league game, Saturday presents an opportunity for City or United, who trail leaders Liverpool by four and five points respectively, to move ahead of the chasing pack.
Leicester's 2-0 away victory over Tottenham Hotspur lifted Brendan Rodgers' side up to second in the standings, one place above Ole Gunnar Solskjær's Red Devils, who defeated Leeds United 6-2.

Who’s in contention to play?
In his pre-match press conference with the media, Brendan Rodgers commented on the fitness of Jamie Vardy and Çağlar Söyüncü: “He (Jamie Vardy) will be fine for the game, it’s just a little bit of soreness in that (groin) area, which he’s had a few times, but he’ll be okay. Söyüncü is close, if not for Saturday, he could be available for the Monday game which will be great. He’s training and working well and other than that, everyone else is okay."
What happened last time?
The Manchester club came out on top in both Premier League clashes last season, firstly winning 1-0 at Old Trafford on 14 September, 2019, courtesy of Marcus Rashford's early penalty.
The reverse fixture, which was the final game of the 2019/20 campaign, ended 2-0 and confirmed the Red Devils' place in the top four.
Again it was a penalty, this time from Bruno Fernandes, that had United ahead, before Jesse Lingard's injury-time goal sealed three points.
When can I watch match highlights?
Supporters will be able to access a two-minute highlights package on LCFC TV approximately two hours after full-time, available for free to Digital Members on the Club's official website (free sign-up).
Over on Leicester City's official social media channels, short clips will also be posted, while LCFC.com will house a full highlights video from midnight following the fixture.
