- Natasha Flint named the FA Women's Championship Player of the Month in December
- The 24-year-old forward has scored 12 goals in all competitions this term
- Four of those came in December, as the Foxes climbed to the second tier's summit
- She beat Emily Roberts (Durham), Meikayla Moore (Liverpool) and Bianca Baptiste (Crystal Palace)
Flint, 24, has wasted little time in exhibiting her very best qualities since joining the Club in the summer, netting 12 goals in all competitions ahead of Christmas.
The Foxes sit top of the second-tier standings for the first time in their history after turning professional at the start of the season, following a five-game winning run over the winter.
Former Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers striker Flint found the net in all three of City's league victories during December, starting with a long-range stunner in a 3-0 success over London Bees.
Another trademark finish followed as Leicester secured a 2-0 win at Charlton Athletic, before Flint registered a brace against former side Blackburn in a 3-2 triumph in Lancashire.
City's No.20 beat off competition from Emily Roberts (Durham), Meikayla Moore (Liverpool) and Bianca Baptiste (Crystal Palace) to scoop the award, which was decided by a panel, alongside a public vote.
LCFC Women are next in action on Sunday as Sheffield United Women visit Farley Way Stadium in the FA Women's Championship (2pm GMT kick-off).
