With eight Premier League matches remaining, City are currently third in the table, while Brendan Rodgers' men also have an Emirates FA Cup Semi-Final against Southampton at Wembley Stadium on 18 April to look forward to.
As the 2020/21 campaign reaches an exciting climax, Fofana spoke to LCFC TV earlier this week to reflect on his debut season as a Fox and to look ahead to what could be an enjoyable five weeks for the Club.
As well as breaking through with France's Under-21s, the former Saint-Étienne defender has also earned many plaudits in English football with a string of impressive performances for Leicester.
"I feel really, really good," the 20-year-old said at LCFC Training Ground. "We’ve been positive since the start of the season. Now, it’s all about winning as many games as we possibly can and we’re going to do everything in our power to try and make that happen.
"I’m a happy go-lucky sort of guy. I’ve got to be happy because everything is going really well considering it’s my first year. If we can achieve all of our objectives between now and the end of the season, I’ll be even happier.
"It’s gone really, really well. Above all, the settling in period has been very, very quick. It’s something I’ve not had to worry or think about too much. I was lucky enough to have a lot of help from my team-mates and from the Club in general.
"That helped things to go really, really well, so I’m happy with how I’ve adapted to football here and how I’ve settled in, so it’s gone well."
Leicester's last outing was a 2-0 reverse against runaway leaders Manchester City at King Power Stadium and, while naturally disappointed with the outcome against Pep Guardiola's men, Fofana says the Foxes know where they need to improve over the coming weeks.
On Sunday, City head to London Stadium to tackle David Moyes' in-form West Ham United side (2:05pm kick-off), who currently occupy fourth place in the Premier League.
"Obviously, everyone was disappointed, you always are when you lose a game," Fofana said, reflecting on last week's loss to Man City. "Maybe things didn’t work out quite as well for us as we wanted them to, but we’re in good shape for the next game and that’s what we’ve done now.
"We’ve managed to put that behind us, turn the page on that defeat, and we’re focusing 100 per cent on the next match. We know it’s a very important game for us against a close rival and it’s important that we get the three points, so we can increase the distance between ourselves and the teams behind us.
"We’re very much focused on that, we’re concentrated on that and, after the West Ham game, we’ll continue to take each game as it comes."
While anyone could point to several threats who are currently shining for the Hammers, Fofana is keen to focus on what Leicester can bring to Sunday's encounter and backed his team-mates to deliver another big performance in the capital.
"It’s all about what we do, rather than focusing too much on them," he added. "If we play our own game, we know we’ve been effective all season when we impose ourselves on the game. If we play to the form we’ve been managing to play all season, we’ll create chances and we’ll create problems for them.
"It is important to go there and be confident in the way we play and the way we can impose our own style on them. We know the chances will come."
