Looking ahead to the final run-in in 2020/21, which sees the Red Devils face a triple-header of matches in just five days, while Leicester have the final of the Emirates FA Cup at the weekend, figures including Brendan Rodgers and Ole Gunnar Solskjær have been looking ahead.
Before Tuesday's encounter at Old Trafford, here's what they had to say...
Brendan Rodgers on Leicester's record against the 'big six' clubs in the Premier League: "It shows you how well they’ve done in a lot of the other games. We’ve got to play the Europa League finalists and the Champions League finalists in two of our last three league games. That shows you how well these players have done to be up there competing and fighting. We’re very close to achieving what it is we want, but we know we have to really fight. We’ve made it difficult for ourselves, that’s the reality. In the last two games, we haven’t got the results we wanted to and now it means we’ve got to really push and look to win these games, starting with the next game."
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær on the club's packed fixture schedule: "You’ve just got to go game by game, one step at a time. We’ve been handed a very bad hand. The cards are not very good because the intensity of the Premier League is so, so high and the quality is so high. We’ve just got to make sure we tick one off at a time. But the players are ready for it, I’m ready for it, the coaches are ready for it. It’s a challenge we’ll take head on. It’s not like we’ll just throw the toys out of the pram and feel sorry for ourselves. That’s not the way we are."
Foxes midfielder Wilfred Ndidi looks ahead to the challenge at Old Trafford: "We’ve got three games left, so it’s that part of the season where every point is really important. It’s a tough game. Obviously, the last time we met, we knocked them out of the FA Cup, but it’s going to be a difficult game. We’ll look forward to it and see what comes out of it. They’re a really good team, a really strong side. The players they have are top quality. They’ve really done well in the league and the Europa League. They will also want to finish as high as possible, which is how every team wants to finish the season. It’s something that means we have to go there, see what comes out of it, and we’ll give everything."
Former City and current Red Devils centre-back Harry Maguire told manutd.com recently: "The motivation should now be: let’s go all [this] season unbeaten. We don’t want to lose another game; we’ve got to take each game as it comes but we have to respect each opponent. But yes, let’s set a challenge of going unbeaten all season, from now until the end of the season, and see where it takes us. It’s important that we go in the Premier League and try and maintain that record because it’s a proud record to have. Our home form has picked up a little bit of late so that’s important too."
