In the Foxes' final league match before Christmas, Rovers are the visitors – and the Blue Army can watch the action unfold, for free, on LCFC TV from 6:45pm on Friday. Commentator John Dunn will be joined by former Leicester manager Micky Adams across the live broadcast.
Adams managed the Club between 2002 and 2004, overseeing the last-ever match at Filbert Street and promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt a season later. He'll be on hand throughout the live show to provide his expert opinion on the Club's latest crop of youngsters.
Leicester's Under-23s go into the clash with Blackburn on the back of a superb 3-1 away victory over Leeds United, courtesy of Ethan Fitzhugh (2) and Bayli Spencer-Adams at LNER Community Stadium. Speaking afterwards, coach Ben Petty was pleased with the development on show from the side.
“It was a terrific performance from the lads," he told LCFC TV. "Obviously, we were helped a little bit by the red card, but I thought even up until that, we were in control of the game, we’d only really had one effort on goal from Leeds and [Joe] Gelhardt was clinical with that one.
“The way we managed the game and controlled the game after the red card was really good tonight. [Charlie] Cresswell stopped Lewis [Brunt] going through on goal for the first yellow and then it’s a late tackle on JT (Tawanda Maswanhise) for the second yellow.
“It did shift the momentum of the game and we capitalised on it. It’s not easy playing against 10 men, they put a block on, but I thought we moved the ball really well. I said to the lads that they have shown some learning tonight.”
Live coverage begins at 6:45pm on LCFC.com with short clips and regular updates available on @LCFC social media.
