Buoyed by an excellent comeback victory over Brighton & Hove Albion Under-23s on Monday evening, the young Foxes will head into this encounter in the capital full of confidence and searching for back-to-back successes.

After going a goal behind early on at LCFC Training Ground, they roared back in the second half via a smart finish from Will Alves, followed by Wanya Marcal-Madivadua’s stunning late strike.

Those three points pushed Leicester up to 10th in the Premier League 2 Division 1 standings. The Hammers, meanwhile, top the table, having gained 35 points from 16 matches, though a 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Friday ended their five-game winning streak.

City are one of three teams to defeat the in-form Londoners this campaign, triumphing 2-1 in the reverse fixture in November, courtesy of an injury-time winner from Marcal-Madivadua.

Coach Ben Petty previewed the latest meeting on LCFC TV: "It's going to be a tough game next Monday afternoon. There's time for the lads to recover for a couple of days and get back on the training pitch to be well prepared for next week."

Supporters will be able to keep across all of the action from east London with team news and live match updates on @LCFC’s social media channels, while post-match reaction with members of the Foxes camp – and match highlights – will be posted on LCFC.com in the days after the fixture.
