Leicester City's Under-18s are now unbeaten in 11 games in all competitions after a 1-1 draw at Arsenal in U18 Premier League South.

The young Foxes headed to the capital on Saturday after securing their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup with a 5-1 success over AFC Bournemouth at the end of January.

Skipper Chris Popov handed the visitors a lead after 23 minutes at Arsenal Training Centre in Shenley and it was a lead which the Club's Under-18s would hold until the half-time break. However, inside just three minutes in the second period, the Gunners were back on level terms.

It came through a Khayon Edwards penalty for the home side, but a 1-1 draw still prolongs a hugely impressive unbeaten streak for Leicester's youngsters. They currently sit fourth in the league standings, on 29 points, three behind leaders West Ham United, who have played two games more.

Next up for City is a visit to the AMEX Elite Football Performance Centre to face Brighton & Hove Albion, currently eighth, on Saturday 12 February (11am GMT kick-off).
