What happened last time?
City took the lead at Villa Park earlier this season courtesy of Harvey Barnes’ 14th-minute finish, but the home side responded through Ezri Konsa just three minutes later and went on to claim the three points when the defender netted again shortly after the break.
The last meeting at King Power Stadium was also a win for Villa, with Ross Barkley’s last-gasp goal proving the difference as the visitors recorded a 1-0 success in October 2020.
