- Leicester City to play OHL at King Power At Den Dreef Stadion in Belgium
- Fixture to take place on Saturday 16 July at 1pm BST
- OHL have been under King Power International’s ownership since 2017
- Tickets available online via OHL from Thursday 16 June
The fixture is the first confirmed date of Leicester City’s pre-season preparations for the 2022/23 Premier League campaign and will see two teams in King Power’s football family come together in Leuven for the first time.
OH Leuven, who have been under the ownership of King Power International since 2017, were promoted to the Belgian top-flight in 2020 and have since established themselves in the division with back-to-back 11th place finishes.
A special ‘Fan Day’ at King Power At Den Dreef Stadion will mark the occasion, with a host of activities set to take place ahead of the fixture between Brendan Rodgers’ and Marc Brys’ teams.
The Fan Day will open at 12:30pm (local time) with a presentation of OHL Women and Under-23s players ahead of the match, after which a concert, signing session with the OHL Men’s First Team and a DJ set will take place for supporters in attendance.
The fixture will be the third opportunity for Leicester City supporters to visit Leuven in Belgium, City fans making the journey to Belgium in 2017 and 2020, while OHL supporters have also made the return trip to Leicester to cheer on the Foxes.
