- Leicester City will start their 2022/23 Premier League season at home to Brentford
- The Foxes are to face Arsenal away in their second game of the campaign
- Newcastle United (H) and Liverpool (A) will be the opponents on Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve
- City’s final fixture of the season will be at home against West Ham United
The Foxes – who have finished in the Premier League’s top-eight for the past three seasons – will welcome the Bees to King Power Stadium on the opening weekend. They will then face Arsenal away in their second game on Saturday 13 August, before playing Southampton at home on Saturday 20 August, Chelsea away on Saturday 27 August and Manchester United at home on Tuesday 30 August, to complete their first five fixtures of the new season.
The 2022/23 campaign has been adjusted to accommodate the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. This means matchweek 16, where City will take on West Ham United at London Stadium over the weekend of 12-13 November, will be the final set of games before the season is paused for the World Cup.
The Premier League season will then resume on Boxing Day, eight days after the FIFA World Cup Final, with the Foxes to play Newcastle United on Filbert Way.
Following this, Brendan Rodgers’ side will travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool on New Year’s Eve, before starting 2023 with a clash at home to Fulham on Monday 2 January.
The final three fixtures of the campaign will see the Foxes host Liverpool on Saturday 13 May, play Newcastle United away on Saturday 20 May and West Ham United at home on Sunday 28 May.
All fixture dates and kick-off times are pending live TV broadcast selections and are subject to change. Those changes will be reflected on LCFC.com as soon as they are announced.
