Following a 1-0 home defeat to Manchester City Under-18s a couple of weeks ago, the Foxes got back to winning ways in an emphatic six goal thriller in Seagrave, with five different players all finding the net.
The visitors took the lead in the sixth minute through Junior Dixon and were leading for the majority of the first half, until Reece Evans levelled things up just before the interval.
Three minutes into the second half, Abdullah Javaid gave City the lead, before Jayden Joseph ensured a two-goal cushion just after the hour mark. All three points were secured for the home side when Freddie Cook and Logan Briggs added a fourth and fifth inside the last 15 minutes.
A second league win of the season sees the Foxes sit ninth in the U18 Premier League South Division, on seven points.
Up next for Leicester’s youngsters is a home league fixture on Saturday 29th October (11am kick-off) against Southampton Under-18s, who currently sit bottom of the league, and without a win in five.
