Leicester City travel to Merseyside to face Liverpool in their final game of the calendar year, only four days after restarting their Premier League campaign against Newcastle United at King Power Stadium.
The Foxes were defeated 3-0 by the high-flying Magpies during the Boxing Day clash. Chris Wood, Miguel Almirón and Joelinton scoring the goals for the visitors, less than a week before Brendan Rodgers' side would take on the Reds on Friday 30 December (8pm kick-off).
Fans can tune in to the Matchday Live show from 7pm on Friday evening, when presenter Dan Bates, will be joined by Matt Elliott and Iwan Roberts, as they provide build-up to City's last match this year.
Elliot's career on Filbert Way spanned over eight years, from 1997-2005, while the Welsh-born Roberts spent three years with the Foxes, until his departure from the Club in 1996.
John Dunn and Gerry Taggart will provide commentary from Anfield during the game, before Bates and his special guests will analyse the proceedings for 30 minutes after the full-time whistle.
