Announced as the Club's second January signing on Sunday, the former Shakhtar Donetsk winger has joined City on a deal until June. Tetê boasts an impressive stats record, scoring eight goals in 26 games on loan at Lyon.
"I'm really happy [to be] here," the Alvorada-born star said. "It's a huge club in England. I'm really happy to be the first Brazilian for the Club. I'm really motivated and I cannot wait to meet the fans. For sure, I will bring the Brazilian magic on the pitch.
"I went to have a look at the stadium. It's beautiful. I can already imagine what it would be like with a lot of fans. I hope to score a lot of goals, get a lot of assists and that all the fans are happy to see me play. I'm happy to be a Fox!"
Speaking inside the tunnel area at King Power Stadium, Tetê revealed that the Club have pursued his signature for some time – also discussing the magnificent LCFC Training Ground and recalling some former Foxes who he hopes to emulate.
"The last [few] days were a bit complicated, but I feel really happy that we can make this happen and that I'm here now," the 22-year-old added. "It's been a long time. It was in the last transfer window.
"In getting here now, I see it's a huge club in England and the structure of the Club is amazing.
"They have been champions of the Premier League in 2016 with huge players like [N'Golo] Kante and [Riyad] Mahrez, who plays in the same position as me. Being in the Premier League, for me, is a dream come true and I'm very motivated.
"I didn't know about the training centre at Leicester, but it's amazing. It's unbelievable and something I have never seen in my life. I'm so happy and I would be even more happy to train there. I will enjoy it because that place is amazing."
Tetê hopes he can bring flair and excitement to the Foxes – an intention which is sure to excite the Blue Army.
"I'm a left-footed right winger who likes to cut in and score goes and give assists," he explained. "Also I'm a dribbler and a fast player. It's a big feature I have, to score goals and get assists.
"But what I value the most is making a big game, helping the team. If I score, I guess this is always good, but I always try to give my best in the game."
