Alfie Devine opened the scoring for Spurs before Malachi Fagan-Walcott and Romaine Mundle rounded off a disappointing evening, as Leicester are left bottom of Premier League 2 Division 1, and nine points behind their competitors.
Three changes were made to the Foxes' line-up beaten 1-0 by Blackburn Rovers a couple of weeks ago. Lewis Brunt, Wanya Marcal-Madivadua and Kian Pennant were all replaced by Jahmari Lindsay, Bobby Amartey and Chris Popov, as goalkeeper Brad Young took on the responsibility of the armband.
Following Monday's postponement, the evening started with Spurs one place and six points ahead of City, who are at the foot of PL2.
The first piece of action came 18 minutes in when the hosts broke the deadlock. After Lindsay was robbed of possession inside his own box, Bayli Spencer-Adams was on hand to block two efforts off the line. However, in a position with numerous bodies forward, the Tottenham bombardment continued. Devine picked up the ball and fired an effort on goal from the edge of the box, catching a slight deflection off Spencer-Adams on its way into the back of the net.
Minutes later, Spurs had a second. A low delivered corner to the front post caused a scramble, and it was Fagan-Walcott who managed to squeeze the ball in from close range with his left foot.
With all the momentum behind them, Tottenham had a great opportunity to put the game out of sight only half an hour in, when Devine was in again. Picking up the ball deep inside the City half, the forward weaved his way around two players before prodding the ball towards goal, but thankfully for Leicester it landed the wrong side of the post.
In an attempt to stabilise the situation, Leicester tried to press further forward, and get players around Popov to encourage an opportunity to present itself before the break.
As half-time approached, the Spurs 'keeper remained untested while Young was kept busy, first denying Max Robson's low drive towards goal, before Jude Soonsup-Bell tried an acrobatic effort, sending his chance high over the crossbar.
Ten minutes after the interval, Tottenham had a third when Kallum Cesay released Mundle, who calmy fired past Young. However, the Foxes did fight back to reduce the deficit when Wormleighton scored shortly afterwards.
A whipped in cross from Tawanda Maswanhise was met by the wing-back, who arrived late at the back post, and while flying through the air, managed to direct the ball goalwards and into the roof of the net.
This sparked confidence in the last 20 minutes for the visiting side, and the game opened up with both teams looking to break through the other's backline. However with all of Leicester's last-ditch attempts to break through, the scoreline was confirmed and with it, another loss for City's Under-21s.
Major moment – Devine's opener
Level for 20 minutes, the change in momentum came when Alfie Devine found the net from the edge of the box. This spurred the home side to add another two more goals through Malachi Fagan-Walcott and Romaine Mundle either side of the break.

The young defender worked tirelessly on Friday evening, and gambled on a cross from Tawanda Maswanhise to score the Under-21s' only goal of the match.
