West Ham United are the opponents for a 7pm kick-off at Rush Green Stadium, with the Hammers currently 12th in the standings and Leicester, already confirmed to be playing in PL2 Division 2 next season, 10 points behind in 14th.
The east London outfit narrowly lost out 1-0 to Liverpool in their last league fixture, while the Foxes youngsters were also beaten, 4-1 at home to Everton on Monday evening. Tawanda Maswanhise's penalty - his seventh PL2 goal of the campaign - proved to be a consolation for the hosts in Seagrave.
Speaking after the game, coach Ben Petty gave his assessment of the season as a whole so far: “You can't take it for granted, the level that we're playing at. We're playing against top sides, Premier League 2 teams that have got a depth of quality. And if we're not on our A-game every single week, then you do get punished.
“We've had our injuries this season. That's one of the reasons why we've struggled. But those players that come into the team have to step up. As the coach, it gives me a lot of thinking time now to how we progress and how we develop moving forward.”
Coverage of this encounter with West Ham, the first of three consecutive away games to conclude the 2022/23 season, will be across @LCFC's social media channels, including in-game updates via Twitter following confirmation of team news at 6pm.
