- Manager Dean Smith has provided a fitness update on his squad
- Kelechi Iheanacho (groin) could play a part for the Foxes this season
- Ricardo Pereira (hamstring) has been training with the squad too
- Smith also discusses Jonny Evans (viral infection), who is also training
Striker Iheanacho, who has netted eight goals this season, suffered a groin injury in City's 1-1 draw at Leeds United late last month. Smith, though, has refused to rule Iheanacho out for the season with just four games to play.
The Foxes visit Craven Cottage on Monday to take on Marco Silva's Fulham side in the Premier League (3pm BST kick-off). Leicester have taken five points from three games, elevating them to 16th, although only above the bottom three on goal difference.
Ricardo Pereira, on the other hand, is progressing well in his own recovery from a hamstring complaint. Dependant on progress over the weekend, the Portuguese could even play a part in the capital, Smith says.
"Kel has responded to treatment," the Manager told the media. "He's not back for the weekend, but we may get him back for the last two games of the season. Other than that, everyone came through the [Everton] game okay.
"Ricky has been training with us. He is due to train on Saturday. He part-trained yesterday (Wednesday). If he comes through Saturday and Sunday, I’m sure he’ll put himself up for selection for Monday."
Club captain Jonny Evans is also out on the pitches in Seagrave after a viral infection: "He is back training with us. He's trained really well for the last couple of days. It’s nice to have that experienced head around. There’s so much the some of the other lads can pick up from him, his knowledge and experience. He’s a great character to have around as well."
Elsewhere, Jamie Vardy has scored two goals in as many games and Smith does not anticipate having to manage the 36-year-old's game time due to the space between matches this month.
"There’s a week in between games now, with six days recovery, so he’s fine," Smith explained.
