As one of 16 Category One Academy clubs invited to participate, the young Foxes enter the EFL competition alongside senior League 1 and 2 sides.
City's youngsters are in Northern Group D alongside third tier sides Wigan Athletic and Fleetwood Town and fourth tier outfit Tranmere Rovers.
Leicester's Under-21s will be away in each group fixture and, if they progress, will enter a knockout phase of the competition.
Confirmed dates and kick-off times will be announced in due course.
