The 28-year-old New Zealand international defender signs the extension having played a pivotal role in last season’s successful fight for survival in the Barclays Women's Super League following her move from Norwegian outfit Vålerenga.

Speaking to LCFC.com CJ said: "I feel great signing for the Club. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far. It’s incredible to see how far the team has come in that time and it is a really exciting time to be part of the Football Club.

“I think I’ve developed as a player here and this league is so competitive, so it’s definitely where I want to be. I really love the values of the Football Club and it’s something I’m really pleased to be a part of.”

A solid and consistent performer at right-back, the all-action defender has made 24 appearances in all competitions for the Foxes and has provided valuable experience to Willie Kirk’s defensive line since her arrival.

She will now link up with her New Zealand team-mates for this summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, before returning to Belvoir Drive ahead of what will be a third successive season in the women’s top flight for the Football Club.
