Leicester City and Crystal Palace played out a 1-1 draw in the U18 Premier League South on Saturday.

The young Foxes were looking to build on a 2-1 success over Sunderland when the Eagles visited Seagrave at the weekend but they found themselves behind early on.

Matteo Dashi was the man to open the scoring, latching onto Jesse Derry's pass to convert past Harry French for the visitors.

City were pushing for a leveller and had to wait until 10 minutes into the second half, with Tristan Thomas finding Yassine Toure to head in for the side coached by Adam Barradell.

It's a result which puts the Club's Under-18s side seventh in the 13-team U18 PL South standings, on five points from four games. Fulham lead the way with nine.

Aston Villa are the visitors to LCFC Training Ground next up, on Saturday 30 September (11am BST kick-off).
