There are no fresh injury concerns in the Leicester City squad ahead of Sunday's Sky Bet Championship visit to Blackburn Rovers.

- Leicester City face Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Sunday (12pm BST kick-off)
- Callum Doyle is expected to be out for 12-16 weeks through injury
- Enzo Maresca has also praised Conor Coady after an impressive debut

The Foxes head into the weekend topping the Championship standings after seven wins in eight matches. They will have to go sometime without defender Callum Doyle, however, with the Manchester City loanee out through injury.

The 19-year-old missed Wednesday's 3-1 Carabao Cup defeat at Liverpool after being substituted during the 1-0 success over Bristol City. Enzo Maresca, the City Manager, says it is unfortunate, especially considering his options in full-back areas.

"It’ll be between 12 and 16 weeks," Maresca said on Friday. "He is the only player that is left-footed. He is the only one, so it is unlucky. We have many players [who are right-footed], but in that position, he’s the only one.

He played exactly the way we expected. We know him very well. We know what he can give us.

"It is what it is, so we’ll try to find a solution. Against Liverpool and Bristol City, JJ did very well."

Maresca also confirmed players previously available for selection remain 'all okay' ahead of Blackburn.

Conor Coady, meanwhile, was in the XI to impress on his debut against Liverpool in midweek, making two essential goal-line clearances at Anfield. Maresca wasn't surprised by the quality of his performance, though.

"He did a fantastic game," the Italian added. "He played exactly the way we expected. We know him very well. We know what he can give us. We are very happy with the way he performed. It was his first game in two months or more.

"We are happy because he’s one more player who can help us."
