Leicester City's Under-18s came from a goal down to defeat Southampton 2-1 at LCFC Training Ground on Saturday morning.

The young Foxes' return to U18 Premier League South action ended in victory, responding to a narrow defeat at Arsenal prior to the international break. The side coached by Adam Barradell fell behind to Jay Robinson's 36th-minute goal, having had a goal disallowed for offside earlier in the first half.

A second-half fightback started when Kirsten Otchere headed home a corner and City's pressure continued until Jake Evans was presented with the opportunity to turn the ball home from close range, following pressure on the Saints 'keeper.

Leicester saw out the final 10 minutes to claim three points in Seagrave and move up to ninth in the league standings, on nine points from their opening seven matches in the 13-team division.

Next up in U18 Premier League South, City's Under-18s travel across the Midlands to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday morning (11am GMT kick-off).
