- Leicester City to celebrate Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign against Watford
- The campaign turns 10 years old this year and in that time more than one million people have laced up in support
- Rainbow branding will be visible throughout King Power Stadium at this weekend’s game

Branding will be visible throughout King Power Stadium during this weekend’s fixture, including rainbow themed captain’s armbands and laces, while LED perimeter boards will highlight important messages.

City’s players, meanwhile, will also warm up in branded Rainbow Laces t-shirts to demonstrate further support for the initiative.

This year, the Rainbow Laces campaign turns 10 years old, and in that time more than one million people have laced up to show that they believe sport should be everyone’s game. The campaign’s vision today is the same as it was then: a world where LGBTQ+ people feel welcome to watch and participate in sport - at all levels.

Ahead of kick-off on Saturday, members of Foxes Pride and Proud Hornets, both teams’ respective LGBTQ+ supporter groups, will meet for a pitchside photo.

Foxes Pride work with LCFC to tackle homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in football, while promoting the welfare of the Club’s LGBTQ+ fans and ensuring King Power Stadium is a safe and welcoming place for all.

The group’s efforts have recently been recognised with a nomination in the Fans for Diversity category at this year’s Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) awards.

The largest supported-led awards in the country, the Football Supporters’ Association awards will see 84 candidates battle it out across 14 categories, recognising everything from the best players of the past year to the best podcasts and fanzines.

The shortlist for the Fans for Diversity award is as follows, with the overall winner to be decided by an FSA panel:

- AFC Autism
- Amar Cymru
- ESEA Hornets
- Foxes Pride
- Punjabi Villans
- SpursREACH
