- Leicester City face Coventry City at Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday
- The Sky Bet Championship leaders will be without Jamie Vardy
- City's No.9 is now back in training and working towards a return to action
- Kasey McAteer and Dennis Praet are also closing in on featuring
Vardy, who turned 37 this week, has been out since late November but is building back towards full fitness. Kasey McAteer and Dennis Praet are also close to making their returns from injury, although Kelechi Iheanacho remains out.
The Foxes head to Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday (12:30pm GMT) hoping to build on their 10-point lead at the top of the Sky Bet Championship table and to give the Blue Army an afternoon to savour.
Speaking on Friday, Enzo Maresca provided an update on Vardy's condition: "He’s better. He started to train with us and he’s getting better. He’s not in the squad for tomorrow."
McAteer and Praet could feature for City soon, meanwhile, although Iheanacho won't be in the squad in Coventry.
"Kasey is back and Dennis is back," Maresca added. "The only ones [out] are Jamie and Kel, still out, both of them."
