The Foxes resumed their 2023/24 campaign following the winter break with a dominant 4-0 win over Derby County in the Adobe Women'sFA Cup, before losing out narrowly to Aston Villa in the Barclays Women's Super League just days ago.
Preparing for their third game and third competition since the New Year, the Manager shared a fitness update, revealing that the majority of the squad are available for selection this week.
A substantial period of time away from action over Christmas saw Shannon O'Brien and Deanne Rose come back from injury, and it is looking likely that New Zealand full-back Bott will be the next to return, with the only absentee being Hannah Cain, who is out with an ACL injury.
“We hope that everybody is available," Kirk told LCFC.com. "CJ [Bott] should be on the bench and will be considered for some minutes. I think it’s probably the most amount [of players] available that we’ve had in a long time, and that comes at a good time in a game that is a must win for us.
“Obviously Hannah [Cain] is a long term injury, but everybody else is good to go. We'll be putting out a strong team as we take this competition seriously, and want to progress to the next round."
