- Jutta Rantala scored the only goal in a 1-0 win for Finland against Slovenia
- Deanne Rose features twice as Canada look to progress in CONCACAF W Gold Cup
- Sophie Howard played the full game in a 2-0 win for Scotland
- Janice Cayman played 90 minutes in the UEFA Women's Nations League as Belgium beat Hungary

With a break away from domestic action, which most recently saw City beat Bristol City 5-2 at King Power Stadium, the women's international break has been in full swing, with several Foxes involved worldwide.

Rantala has played once for Finland after being an unused substitute in a 4-0 win against the Philippines. The Leicester forward then started and scored the only goal in a 1-0 win against Slovenia - finding the net after 18 minutes when she was assisted by Ria Öling, cementing Finland's place in Tuesday's final of the Pinatar Cup.

The Finnish winger will come head-to-head with fellow Leicester team-mate, Sophie Howard, who reached the last two with Scotland in 2-0 win against the Philippines. She played the full game as Tottenham Hotspur striker Martha Thomas scored both goals.

Leicester's top goalscorer, Janice Cayman, also got a full 90 minutes under her belt when she played for Belgium, who beat Hungary 5-1 on Friday evening. The hosts took the lead at Puskás Akadémia Pancho Aréna, but a brace from both Sari Kees and Tessa Wullaert plus a single strike from Everton's Justine Vanhaevermaet turned the game around.

Across the pond in America, Deanne Rose has featured twice for Canada in the group stages of the CONCACAF W Gold Cup as two wins from two see them sit at the top of Group C with six points.

The former Reading striker, who joined Leicester last summer, came on as a half-time substitute in a dominating 6-0 win against El Salvador, before starting in a 4-0 win against Paraguay, which saw Aston Villa winger Adriana Leon score a hat-trick.

Rose has the chance to play for Canada again on Wednesday, knowing that a positive result against Costa Rica will ensure their progression to the quarter-finals.

The last Fox to play abroad was young midfielder Emilia Pelgander, who started for Sweden's Under-23s, beating Denmark 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.
