Leicester have started 2024 in great fashion, winning five of their seven games, be will need to be on top of the best form should they want to take anything from the current WSL champions.
Ahead of this weekend's fixture, here is a look at both teams...
The Foxes camp
Leicester most recently defeated Bristol City 5-2 at King Power Stadium, before heading into an international break, with strikes from Yuka Momiki and Jutta Rantala both being nominated for the WSL Goal of the Month award for February - Denny Draper also netting a first senior goal in the game.
City have lost just one of their last four WSL home games, that defeat coming against Aston Villa last month at Pirelli Stadium but was followed up with a league win at Walton Hall Park against Everton.
Janice Cayman remains the Foxes' top goalscorer this season with seven in all competitions, while Rantala is enjoying impressive form, tallying up 12 goal involvements in her debut season.
The opposition
The current champions Chelsea make their way to the East Midlands sat at the top of the tree, but were defeated last time out, when Khadija Shaw scored an early winner for Manchester City at Kingsmeadow, heating up the title race.
Prior to this, Chelsea last claimed victory against Everton earlier this month when Guro Reiten scored two penalties in the 3-0 display. Chasing silverware in four different competitions, Chelsea will face Leicester in the midst of a busy schedule.
Lauren James is the Blues' top goalscorer this season with 12 but the league leaders will be without Australian international Sam Kerr, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury while on a training camp in Morocco earlier this year.
In the dugout
Emma Hayes is overseeing her 12th year and final season in charge of Chelsea, after announcing she will become the head coach of the USA Women's national team this summer.
Hayes has won 138 of her 196 games in charge of the London outfit, averaging an impressive 2.25 points per game. Along her time with the club, she has won the WSL six times, the Women's FA Cup four times, the Continental Tyres League Cup twice and a Women's FA Community Shield.
Last time out
Leicester don't have a good record against the Blues, but in a season of firsts, did break the Chelsea net twice during their previous meeting earlier this season at Kingsmeadow.
After going 2-0 down in five minutes, Rantala got one back before Sam Tierney scored Leicester's second, following Sam Kerr's strike in the capital. A second goal from James and a late finish from Agnes Beever-Jones rounded off a 5-2 defeat for City.
