- Abdul Fatawu speaks after Leicester City are crowned as Sky Bet Championship champions
- The Ghanaian was a key player for Enzo Maresca's title-winners
- He spoke of the 'amazing' feeling to share the weekend's festivities with the fans
Six goals and 13 assists from the on-loan Ghanaian have propelled City to the Sky Bet Championship title, making history with an eighth second-tier success - more than any other team in English football.
It's been an incredible year for Fatawu, who has become an instant fan favourite in Leicester, even getting his own song. A matchday at King Power Stadium now wouldn't be complete without an airing of his reworked Voulez-Vous tune.
The 20-year-old could hardly explain what celebrating with the Blue Army meant to him as City received the trophy.
"What a day!" he said. "It feels so amazing. This is so special. I can’t explain how I’m feeling right now, it’s so amazing. I’m so happy. I love to make the supporters happy because they are here for us. I just try to dance to make it more fun!
"As I always say, it’s a special thing for me. I can’t forget this day. This is something special for me in my career. We thank God for everything."
