At Leicester City Football Club, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

Our Safeguarding Commitment

Leicester City Football Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults at risk of harm. This commitment is shared by all staff who have a duty of care towards children and adults at risk they come into contact with because of their employment. All staff are required to abide by the Club’s Safeguarding Policy at all times.

Accordingly, the safety and welfare of young players in the men’s and women’s Academies, visiting young players, children and adults at risk taking part in any community activities/events, young apprentices in the Turf Academy, young spectators, adult spectators who may be at risk and any other children or adults at risk taking part in any Club activities/events or visiting any of the Club’s sites is of paramount importance.

All visitors including children and adults at risk will be protected by and be expected to follow the Club’s Safeguarding Policy whilst at any of the Club’s sites.

Safeguarding means people and organisations working together to promote and protect the rights, safety and wellbeing of children and adults at risk.

While safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, the Club has a dedicated Safeguarding Team in place who can provide advice and who hold responsibility for leading the response to safeguarding concerns.

The Club takes all safeguarding concerns seriously. If you have any safeguarding concerns please contact the Club Safeguarding Team using the contact details below.
