Wout Faes played 90 minutes as Belgium secured a place in the UEFA EURO 2024 round of 16 following a goalless draw with Ukraine.

- Belgium reach the UEFA EURO 2024 last-16
- Wout Faes plays throughout the group stage
- The 0-0 draw against Ukraine confirmed progression
- The Red Devils finished second in Group E

The Leicester City centre-back was involved from the off in Stuttgart on Wednesday evening, lining up alongside former Foxes team-mates Timothy Castagne and Youri Tielemans.

Neither side could find a way through at Stuttgart Arena and keeping Ukraine at bay ensured Dominic Tedesco's side finish second in Group E, on four points, behind group winners Romania on goal difference.

In fact, all four teams finished on the same number of points, having all won one, lost one and drawn one respectively, with Ukraine the unlucky side to be eliminated.

The Red Devils have set up a meeting with France in the first knockout round at Dusseldorf Arena on Monday (5pm BST kick-off), when Faes could be involved again.
